It is quite possible if you are handy with tools but not easy if you're not.  It is best done with the shaft out.  The clubhead must be held firmly onto a very heavy steel backing like a vise.  Search on youtube, I've seen some videos using double stick tape to hold it down.  Then you must strike the stamp firmly with a hammer (no tapping).  I would practice on some scrap steel if I'd never done it before.  Then paintfill like any other club detail.
