I received a free super stroke grip in the mail yesterday. Does anyone else game these on their irons and if so what are your thoughts on them? Thanks #TT

I am curious about them. Thinking of trying them out. But do not want to buy a whole set and then have doubts. Also thinking about changing my putter grip. I want a softer feeling putter grip.

I'd be interested to see how their iron grips perform too.
I use a Mid Slim 2.0 on my putter and I found that worked great

I don't game them (except on my putter) but have tested out the iron grips super stroke has to offer. The two models I tried were extremely similar to the golf pride mcc and the classic tour velvet, however, not a big enough difference to change away from the golf pride grips I've been using for years. The different colors and the brand rep super stroke has accumulated though is interesting.

I also received mine yesterday. Gray with yellow accents. I have Golf Pride Tour Wrap G2 midsize grips on all my clubs and this SS grip is more like a Tour Velvet. Perhaps my wife will like it on one of her clubs but it's not for me.
  6. Couple friends of mine use the iron grips and love them! Long lasting and comfortable. Both use the midsize.
  7. I just put them on my irons and I love them. I was going to put Golf Pride MCCs, but decided to try out the SS'. I'm glad I got them.

They do feel a bit thinner, which I like. But you may want to double or triple wrap them.

I picked up the Super Stroke S-Tech grips this year for my wedges and AP2s. Very similar to Golf Pride's Tour Velvet grips in terms of feel. Tacky, but not too soft. Also suitable for +1 wrap when regripping. They seem to be wearing in abnormal fashion. I typically regrip annually and will surely consider the S-Tech grips once again. I am a bit biased due to them being a Michigan based company, but I don't think you will be disappointed.

Correction to my previous post. They are wearing in a normal fashion... not adnormal. Great grips!

Received mine yesterday. Gray with yellow accents. Feels alot like the Golf Pride Tour Velvets which I play on all my wedges. Will be testing this one soon!
  11. I love my S Tech Grips on 13/14 clubs -single wrap irons + double wrap woods. I chose new grips strictly on what Tour players currently use them and if they're good enough for Spieth and Serg then they're good enough for me. My only negative is that I wish I did better research and got black and white as opposed to black and yellow #gobrowns

Pittsburgh born and raised... couldn’t help but lol at that. I play w/ black and yellow grips, lmao. I’m such a homer when it comes to our sports here.

Use the Mid Slim 2.0 on my putter. Been using Golf Pride Tour Wrap on woods & irons since they first came out. Hard for me to change.

Have tried them, but feel more comfortable with Golf Pride grips. Both putter and rest of bag (driver, fairway, hybrids, irons, wedges). Love the Golf Pride tapered putter grips, soft and feels awesome. All about choices.
