I believe so. I saw a test bag last year but have not seen a 2023 production release Players 4 in person. The pictures on this website of the bag appears to not have one. The Players 5 replacing the old Players 4 Plus has a drink pocket on each side but not a rangefinder pocket. I guess you could use it for a rangefinder. The Players 4 does have the soft lined upper pocket that I use for my cellphone. It could be used for the rangefinder or the small lower middle pocket they call a horseshoe pocket is a safe storage spot for it but does not give you that instant reach capability while keeping the bag on your shoulder. I think it went away over concerns that while convenient, the rangefinder could fall out when the bag is upright.

Bought myself a ‘22 version, I like the idea of that magnet range finder pocket… so far so good.

I just picked up the Players 4 Carbon and there were enough pockets for my tee bag and my rangefinder. There are the little clip on bags for the rangefinders that work well too. God luck !
