I wear prescription sunglasses when I play. They are Oakley and with very light bronze lenses. I am near sighted so I need them for those long 350 yard drives (give or take a 100 yards). I've had several different lenses and went with the lightest shade because when it starts to get dark or on cloudy days, the darker lenses weren't working. The ball looks a little blurry at address but I got used to that. I take them off when around the green so I can read the greens a little better.

I left my last prescription sunglasses in Ireland. Probably in a woolen shop while doing penance for taking my bride to the TT International event. I wasn’t aware that Oakley offered prescription sunglasses.
I don’t have to have progressive lenses but some correction for my 350 yard drives, give or take 150 yards is helpful. Am I missing sports specific sunglasses by just getting generic lenses at Costco offered in one shade of gray, brown, or green? Spend more time going over the rack of sunglasses? I hate shopping, more attuned to buying quickly.

I have few pair of Oakley prescription sunglasses. The reason for the different pairs is because of different lenses.
Light bronze - used the most
Dark Lense - in case of a real bright day
Clear Lense - for play on cloudy days or late twilight play

I know this sounds crazy, but I can't see distance and can't pull the trigger on Lasik Surgery.

Oakley has a prizim golf lens designed specifically for golf. I have them with my prescription and it really helps!

I get my glasses from the VA Hopsital Specialty Clinic. I wear bifocals, transitional sunglasses (dark grey) with anti glare. They are fantastic and never have to switch from one to another. The price is right. Only cost me six years in the AF.

Prescription Ray Ban "new" Wayfayer's with green lenses for me!

I play golf in transition lenses prescription glasses without the bifocal adjustment that are in my non-golf glasses. I find the depth perception uncomfortable on bifocal and multifocal lenses when looking at down at the ball to swing or putt. The transition lenses give me the UV protection I need but don’t get too dark on cloudy or foggy days.

i've got a pair of prescription Maui Jim with bronze lenses and Ray Ban New Wayfayer with green lens. I also have a pair of Oakley with transition lenses. I find I use the Ray Ban the most, unless it's overcast. When it's cloudy i tned to use the Oakley transition lens glasses.

I have been playing with Rx Maui Jim's for 10+ years and love them. I'm on my second pair for golf and the one change I made was to eliminate the progressive bifocal lens and go with the near sighted prescription only for distance. I found the progressive lens created some blurriness when I would look down to address the ball. They have some great golf lenses so just make sure you get the frames that work for you with golf (try them on with a hat).

I suffer from some bad sensitivity to light from a few concussions over the years and i find the dark golf lenses from Oakley are a life saver . Not the best for fall golf but spring/summer they’re unstoppable . Worth checking out for sure i ordered mine off Oakley gave them my prescription had the glasses in less than 2 weeks

Played with Oakley Prizm Golf Dark for years and they worked great. With last prescription I ordered Oakley with transitions lenses h a particular golf frame and they delivered a flawed product and canceled order 2 months later due to the further delay. Not sure if it was a Oakley problem or transition but may be due to the lens shape being difficult to work with. Oakley Prizm golf only choice for me going forward - they also have a lighter (more light transition) Prizm Golf lens.

Play with the Oakley dark golf prism golf and the regular golf prism lenses. Both of these lenses are awesome at really showing transitions on the course. The frames and lenses are super durable and stay put on my face for the entire round. Good luck in your search!

I have two pair of Oakley Prizm sunglasses. One pair with dark lenses for sunny days and another pair with yellow lenses for cloudy low light days. Both pairs are excellent. I have never had a problem with them.

I love my Maui Jims. I’ve tried Ray Bans too. Maui Jim is just so much more clear.

Currently have Maui Jim and I also really liked Revo. Oakley's just don't sit quite right for me.
My main preference has been for frames that bend behind the ear so they don't move during the golf swing, and wrap around my eyes to block out unwanted sunlight.
