  1. Does anyone have any tips on how to putt better and more consistently?

Best advice I can give you comes from one of my instructors. "Try hitting the hole."
  3. I came across a video a while back that explained from the ball position, imagine you’re tossing the ball at the hole. Remember how hard you feel you would have to toss for it to make it to the hole. Now relay that into your putter. I may not sink it every time but I’m always within a foot of the hole. Hope this helps.

I'm in the same boat, I'm costing myself strokes every time I go to putt.

I recently did a putter fitting at the Scotty Cameron Gallery in CA. It was very enlightening... and mostly about my setup. A couple of things I took away from it, which instantly made an impact on the game...

    1. Make sure your forearms are aligned with the putter shaft
    2. Ensure that your eyes are above the ball (I thought I was, but the video showed differently)
    - may need to get someone else to record you and make sure
    3. Pick your line, then pick a spot about 6 inches in front of the ball that is on your line and make sure that you get it started on the line

    Then it's all about pace.
