Hit my first ever hole in one on the 17th of February. The hole was a short par 3 over water, a lot like #17 at TPC Sawgrass. A front pin had the hole playing about 94yards. I hit my 54 degree wedge and as the ball flew up I thought I might have left it short in the water, but by the time the ball was falling I could tell it was going to be good. It pitched about a foot short and left and rolled right in and I couldn't believe it. We went crazy on the tee box and the group ahead of us walking off the green walked back over to check the hole and couldn't believe there was a ball in there. My buddies and I always talk about our dads who give each other a hard time about who has and has not hit holes in one, so now I'm just glad I've got one under my belt to avoid the jabs from buddies later on.
