I was playing a Titleist Pro V1x #7 on the 26th hole of a 27 hole day. By all rights I hit an errant drive on the previous hole and after using the same ball all day, I thought it was a goner. One of the guys on my scramble team found it just as I was giving it up for lost. Our team birdied that hole to make the match dormie. The next hole at Crown Pointe was # 8 which we had played earlier in which I had no success. It was playing 123 yards with the pin tucked in the upper right corner on the top level of a sloped green. I went from an 8 to a 9 iron and lined up on the other side of the tee box and struck what proved to be a perfect shot, if I do say so myself. Two of the guys from the group we were playing against waited to see how we did and were excited to witness it even though it sealed our match. Thanks Titleist for helping to make another special moment for an old hacker.
