Avid golfer for over 20 years. Have been so close a few times but have never had one fall. The hole in one while playing a corporate outing at The Cove in Lake of the Ozarks(Trent Jones course). Pured a ProV1x with a Titleist AP3 8 iron 162 yards into a steady breeze. Ball climbed high, fell 4 feet behind the hole and slowly trickled back into the cup. The hole sponsor initially thought I won the grand prize of the tournament- $10,000! However, he had the holes confused and the prize was quite a bit less. A crazy 5 minutes but an ace is priceless after all of these years.
