It was getting to be towards dark and I came up to the 17th tee. 17 is a Par-3. 148 yards to the middle of the green, 153 to the back of the green (according to my sky droid app) and the pin was in the back. I wanted to play it as 150 yard shot and just put it in the middle of the green. I did not want to go long, the chip shot on the back side of the green can be difficult. I pulled a pitching wedge (I have Titleist AP3 irons and hit a wedge 150 yards), and teed it up. I got my line and put a good swing on it. It was one of the shots you take and you hit the ball so pure you don't even feel it. The ball went up and was right in line with the pin. Trajectory was perfect and because it was twilight I couldn't see the ball once it came down below the trees, I heard it hit the green and thought it would be close. When I got up to the green I had my putter in my hand and when I saw it was in the hole I threw my arms in the air and let go of my putter. I went and got my ball and almost floated to the 18th tee. I played 18 and when we got on the green I realized I never picked up my putter on 17 so had to do the walk of shame back to the green to get my putter to finish my round.
