I’ve been playing golf for 30+ years and have had countless close encounters but never could get one to fall. Played yesterday in an outing at an executive course so shorter course for sure. Get to the 2nd hole which is a short par 4 playing 250 yards and grab my trusty 917 3 wood. Make a great swing and look up and go damn that’s right at it. Lands on the front of the green and watch it trickle to the back. Get up to the green and my group is just smirking. So got my 1st hole in one and albatross with one swing!! Now I am broke and the T2 driver will have to wait :).
