I am eighty years old and after many, many years of playing golf, I finally got my first hole-in-one. It was on the eighth hole, a 107 yard par three, at my home club La Contenta Golf course in Valley Springs, Ca. I used a pitching wedge to hit my ProV 1 and I must say it was truly a TV shot, worthy of Slo-Mo. The best part was that due to a back-up on the hole, it was witnessed by two groups of my regular skins game guys, Needless to say I got closest to the pin AND a skin.
