  1. The entirety of my round I joked to my buddies that 'this was the hole'. I kept saying before every single shot that this Par 3 was the one where I would hit my first ever hole in one. Upon arrival to the 13th tee box, I got out my pitching wedge and lined up my shot. However, this time I never jinxed myself and mentioned the hole in one. In fact, it was the ONLY time on the course that I didn't mention getting a hole in one after playing a multitude of par 3's. I hit the ball perfectly and the shot went to the far upper left side of the green. I thought I hit a great shot and was ready to try and two putt for par. However, as I went to grab my tee, my buddies said "that's still rolling". And roll it did! The ball rolled down the slope and towards the hole as we all watched in anticipation as to what might come. And come it did! The ball was lost in sight as it dipped into the hole. "Did that really just drop?!" I said to my friend, and he confirmed it did. Other confirmation of the ace came from the group on the 14th tee box who were jumping up and down and clapping. I couldn't believe it and I started yelling and throwing my hands in the air in sheer joy. One of the greatest days of my life and a memory/place that I will never ever forget...
