Playing with two friends at The Tournament Club of Iowa. I’m having a pretty good day but not my best. We come to number 15 a 147 td par three. Playing my regular ball a Titleist Pro V 1, I hit my six iron the ball lands on the edge of the green and rolls into the cup. Due to the local COVID19 rules the cup is in the hole upside down so the ball is visable as we walk up to the green, it looks like it’s on the edge of the cup but as we get to the cup it rests against the flag stick. Although it’s my 5th Ave it’s been a few years and at age 73 just as exciting as my first Ace.
