there's a little rise in front of the seventh hole at Grant which keeps players from rolling shots onto the green, and when the pin is in the front it also masks the cup from the teeing ground. I hit a great shot right at the flag but couldn't tell where it landed until we walked within 100 yards of the hole. When the ball finally came into view it looked like it was embedded in the green right behind the cup; but as we drew closer it became obvious that only half of the ball was showing because it was at rest on the foam spacer placed in the cup to limit the spread of COVID. don't know if it flew in the cup or rolled in, i'm just glad it stayed in! unfortunately (or fortunately) there was no one in the clubhouse to help me celebrate because of the COVID restrictions, so I only bought drinks for my playing partners
