This chilly morning, March 22, 2020, and thereby with an extra club in hand, I hit a nice, high draw 4-iron into the morning sun. A playing partner mentioned that it looked good but nobody could see it down against the sun. But we heard it! It clearly hit the stick and I figured it would rebound completely off the green. As we approached, however, nobody could see the ball, and another playing partner walked up to find it in the hole! My first on #2 and my second overall, both at Mount Vernon Country Club!!
