My partner and I were playing in Laurel Oaks Country Club Member /Member tournament, a first time for both of us. While we had a good opening day, day 2 was OK but not anything like the first. On the second hole we played in our last match a 146 par 3 all over water, magic happened. I had an iron in my hand but decided to go to a 4 hybrid because the wind came up. The ball tracked straight to the hole and while my playing partners encouraged it to go in it disappeared from sight. What was very interesting was that my partner and I talked about how close I came many other times and the fact that he had two hole in ones. Then pure magic. It was great fun.
