I recently moved to Texas and after getting to know a few groups played in my first club tournament. We had about 80 guys playing that day. I was a bit nervous and also hoping to make new friends and a good impression with the guys so that I'd have some playing partners in the future. Hole 7 was a 205 par 3 and I was the last to hit. It's one of those shots that was just pure and online the entire way. I hit a 4 iron and it landed about 1 foot in front of the cup and one-hopped in. What a great way to meet the entire men's group ! They greeted me in the clubhouse and I couldn't have made a better opening round with my new friends.
