Early in the morning we approached the 8th hole at Oakleigh in The Villages. My wife and friend each hit their shots and then I teed up. I took and extra club for the early morning breeze and struck a good shot. My wife started to yell, "get in the hole, get in the hole". We watched as it sailed to the green, hit and gently roll from the left to right up to the hole. It disappeared and I got my first hole in one. Something I never thought I'd ever accomplish in my life.
