I was playing a charity outing for work at a public course near my home. It was one of the most frustrating pin placements I’ve ever seen on a course. For the even they intentionally make the pin placement next to impossible for one putts. I was on a par 3 and it was 138 yards out, and at this point I just wanted to keep it within 10 feet of the pin. I took my PW out and took a nice soft swing. Ball was heading right towards the pin, as it came down it landed just past the hole. Then I lost it, my group wasn’t sure what happened, no one could see the ball. Because the line was so nice I said “did it go in”? One buddy said maybe and that’s when I proceeded to walk towards the hole when a guy from the next home yelled “ITS IN THE HOLE”! At that point I sprinted to the green feeling something I’ve never felt.
