After playing golf for 15 years, when I got a hole in one back in August 2019, I was thrilled. The thought of getting another one never crossed my mind. So while my husband and I were on a trip to Hilton Head we were just happy to be playing golf in mild weather. On January 14, 2020, when I got to the 8th hole at Old South, I thought oh my, an island green with nothing but marsh all around, so I decided to choose a longer Iron to make sure I didn't wind up short and in the muck. So out goes the ball and not only did it cross the marsh, but it hit the pin strong and dropped right in the hole! It was so thrilling, because I actually saw it happen, unlike the one from August. We celebrated and took pictures, and then as we were walking off the green, we both agreed that it was a good thing the ball hit the pin or else it might have flown off the green into the marsh behind the green!
