It was the 15th May 2021 and we were playing in one of our first club major greensomes events of the season at Brampton park golf club. It was a damp, wet day and the umbrellas were up. We were going quite well so far and then stepped onto the 7th tee. It’s a par 3 with a wide but not very deep green. The yardage was 166 yards with a tucked back left pin position behind a bunker. Greens were quite receptive and I hit a 7 iron, it pitched 2-3 feet past the flag to the right and spun back into the hole. I heard it hit the pin but wasn’t 100% sure if it had hit it and gone in or spun further towards front of the green as you could only just see the hole because the bunker mound was in the way. Walked up and lo and behold it was in the hole. This put us 1 under gross. Ball used was a Pro V1 and club was a Titleist T100.
