On Memorial Day 2021 my friend Sam Hartmann and I decided to play a round of golf at Hart Ridge in Manchester, IA. A nice little 9 hole public course. We completed the first nine with another couple of people who then decided to take off. Sam and I went on to play another nine. When we came back around to #9 I teed up and let it fly. I thought I had made good connection with it and maybe I used a little to much club by selecting my driver. It was a blind green so we weren't able to see what had happened. When we got up to the green I went on the backside looking for my ball. Another gentleman had came over to help saying he did the same thing earlier in day (hit it over). Sam went ahead and putted in to not delay the pace. When he approached the hole he noticed there was two balls and called me over. Sure enough, when he pulled the pin out my ball came with it. I was in shock! We celebrated with some high fives and headed into the clubhouse to share the news and celebrate further. I will surely never forget it! -- Matt
