Playing with my host at Calusa Pines in Naples, FL, we were on hole #16 tee box staring right into the afternoon sun. The green lays out in a peninsula design surrounded by riprap and water. I hit my usual Titleist ProV1x #4 with an Arkansas Razorback logo and my initials "FS2" imprinted on the ball highlighted with my usual red marking. I swing my png G700 5 iron into the ball and a gentle headwind to a pin 168 yards from the tee. The ball traveled through the air and landed on the front portion of the green at a lower elevation than the tee box. My three witnesses and I lost sight of the ball as it rolled on the green. We walked to the green and began locating our balls. Two were off the green and one was visible on the green. One of the players walked by the ball on the green and I asked if that was mine, he said "nope, it's mine." I looked toward the back of the green's edge but saw nothing there. Walking back toward the hole, the same player walked by the hole and glanced into it and offered no change of expression or made a comment. I asked, "anything there?" to which he said, "you might want to look." Low and behold to my amazement, there was my Titlelist ProV1x Razorback #4 in the hole! That was a wonderful accomplishment at age 62 after playing golf since I was 14 years old. One I will never forget! Ironically, my host had aced this same hole on November 18, 2020!
