I was playing Stony Creek Golf Course In Oak Lawn Il. It was Friday 7-2-21 and I was playing the par 3 5th hole, 173 yards from the whites.I hit a 4 iron into a slight breeze and it landed in the front left rough and bounced once. I was not able to see if just bounced forward still in the rough or onto the green. My partner and I walked up to the green and there was no ball. I started looking in the rough and he asked me what I was doing . I said I was looking for my ball. I looked at him standing over the hole and he just looked down at the hole and looked back at me. He asked what ball I was using and I told him and he said you just hit a hole-in-one. I totally thought he was messing with me. I walked over to the hole and there it was.He had the biggest smile on his face and hit me with a big high five.It didn't sink in for a while and the rest of the round was surreal. We had a little celebration at the 19th hole, I registered the card at the pro shop, and we went home. He still had that smile.
