  1. Well playing in my clubs senior championship At los Lagos golf course in Costa Mesa.I just finished walking off the 14th Green with a boggy on a par five I usually have a birdie putt on. Disappointing that it took a 10 foot putt just to make boggy and possibly taking myself out of contention for the championship. I stumbled onto the 15th Tee a 180 yard par three with the goal of just trying to hit the green and walk away with the par. I decided to go up a club and take a nice smooth swing. When I hit it I was certain I Took too much off of it. Halfway through the flight one of my playing partners( Jeff ) yells that’s in the hole. I said to myself you must be crazy I hate it well but I felt like I hit it short. As a ball approach the green another one of my playing partners (Danny) yelled that’s in the hole. I thought to myself what are these guys looking at convinced my ball was barely going to get to the green let alone to the hole. We watched as it landed 7 feet right of the flag hop and rolled in the hole. I sat in shock as the rest of my group screamed and yelled so loud that everybody knew it was a hole in one. Thank God for a hole in one insurance. Because we all had a good time at least those who stayed around Long enough to enjoy it.

Congratulations KNash your hole in one. They provide a tremendous feeling when it happens. Many more.

For those of you are like me playing golf for a long time without a hole in one, "never give up!" My playing golf has been around for 50 years. My game was non-existent for a long time. However, on February 21, 2021 my first hole in one was made. I made my first hole in one during my 76th year. That has made me very proud. It was a short par 3 only 144 yards. However, it is protected front and back by sand bunkers and the green slopes from front to back. I hit my cally Rogue 7 iron and when standing on the tee I only saw it disappear down the greens slope. The good news is a very nice couple were with me; however, the bad news is all pictures, names, and information were in the Apple iPhone I lost. I was just blessed to be their playing partner at that time. I truly enjoyed my first hole in one but It will be a while before I can pursue my second. I will not be able to play golf for another 2 months or so. I cannot wait to get back out there and get back in the groove to keep my descent game alive and pursue #2. Take it from me, "never give up."
  3. Sorry, stupid auto correct turned bogey into buggy. I’d like to think I hate bogeys so much that I can’t even spell them.
