After 45 years of playing, had a hole in one on the 16th hole at Shaker Ridge CC, Loudonville, NY. The 16th hole is a tricky hole over two ponds 120 yards from the forward tee box to middle of green. Used a png 7W and felt I struck it perfect. Hit the front of green and bounced up into the hole. This was during a Women's flag day event on June 13, 2021. Couldn't believe it went in, but my witnesses Sue and Carol started high fiving me and shouting to near by players on the 11th green and 12th tee box which are nearby. Pretty exciting. Sue immediately called the Pro Shop, so when I arrived on the 18th green, members on the Clubhouse porch were applauding. Felt like I just won a huge event.
