It was the first outing of the year for our league. I just joined the league so it was my first outing with a bunch of guys that didn't know me, my dad, uncle, and my buddy. It rained on us the entire front nine and I shot a miserable 52. The sun started to crack through the clouds at the turn as we grabbed a hot dog and some beers. I finished my hotdog and bogeyed 10. I cracked my beer when I got back to my cart. With the wind in my face I hit a high, very slight fade that landed 3 feet in front of the hole, took one small bounce and then disappeared into the cup. That led me to a 39 on the back 9 and really saved the day. Needless to say, my new league mates really enjoyed the free beer at the 19th.
