Just another beautiful Colorado day, playing golf with old friends who were in from out of state. Mildly thinnned the gap wedge, and as it travelled with my slight draw, the other three yell "Get in the Hole" as we all do for our friends.... and for the first time ever... it got in the hole. There was a greenskeeper, named Shawn, doing some repairs on the back of the green. When he jumped up with his fists in the air, we all knew it was real. I was half way up the steps to the next tee before I turned around and grabbed a new ball. Good thing too, because I smoked that one into some guy's back yard. The ball is safe and sound in my desk, never to be played again.
