I was golfing with my husband at Stony Creek in Oak Lawn, Illinois and not doing very well. (I've only been golfing 7-8 years.) We were on the 18th hole and measurement was 114 yards to the hole. I wasn't sure if I should use my 5 or 6 hybrid. Decided on the 6. Got a great hit and watched the ball hit the green and start rolling. I assumed it was rolling off the back. My husband's ball was in the sandtrap near to where my ball should be. When we got to the green I started walking to where my ball should be. But it wasn't there. Walked past the hole and there it was. Sitting pretty. I told him it's in the hole. "You're kidding" he says to me. Nope I wasn't. He hurriedly hit out of sand to see it. Very exciting but neither one of us saw it go in! Guess that will teach me to watch the ball till it stops!
