I was playing at Baylands Golf Links in Palo Alto, CA with my father-in-law. We had a twilight tee time, so we knew finishing was going to be questionable. It was getting dark by the time we made it to the Par 3 17th hole, but still had time to finish all 18. On the 17th, I hit my T200 5 iron from the white tees at 172 yards with wind in our face. The ball was going straight for the green, but a mound in front of the green didn’t allow us to see where the ball landed. As we got to the green, I didn’t see my ball in front or behind. I checked the hole and I was pumped! I couldn’t believe it. There were a few people on the 18th tee nearby shouting. My father-in-law and I were both so excited, but also just couldn’t believe it. The only bad part is the club house was closed by the time we finished and I couldn’t buy drinks! Needless to say I’ve bought some since then!
