Carded my first Ace ever at Hillcrest Country Club in Los Angeles this past Monday, August 2nd, 2021. Hole 12 from the tips, 260 slightly downhill to a middle-right pin. Hit a baby draw with a 2 iron that ended up landing on the first tier and rolling down into the hole. I didn't even see it go in; I thought I had ended up rolling past the hole. However, my buddy who I was playing with, Mark, calmly said to me, "that just went in the hole". I didn't believe him until we walked down and say my Titleist AVX in the bottom of the cup. My first ace ever and what a hole to do it on. Needless to say, I'm beyond stoked! I switched from the Pro V1 to the AVX a few weeks ago and I've been loving it thus far. So excited to join the Hole in One Club!
