Brookshire, 7:30 am playing in the weekend men’s club. Stroke play, play for $20 here and there etc. in a group with my dad and some friends. Second hole, 120 yds pin is middle left tucked behind the sand.

I went second after one of the gents hit one that finished 3’ behind the hole. I hit a little half pw that going right at the stick. It looked like it would be pretty close but the sun is in your eyes that early, so we could quite see how it finished.

We got up to the green and there was only one ball, I thought maybe one of us must have been short. Walked over to the ball closest it was a prov1 with red text just like mine. With a closer look I noticed it said “rob” so leaned over and peeked at the cup and my ball was just sitting in the back. “Oh I think mine is in here?” I started laughing.

There was a ball mark probably 5’-8’ short of the hole. It much have had a bounce or two and bounced or rolled in.

Was happy to share that with my pops and the other fellas in the group, very cool start the the day.
