On the way to the Vineyard golf course, just outside Cincinnati, Ohio, on 8-8-21, I saw a car broken down. Next, a man was walking ,carrying bags. I pulled over, offered the stranger a ride, and he thanked me for caring. When I got to the course I mentioned this to my best friend and said now I could use the good vibes. He scoffed at me and told me luck doesn't work like that. He said ,,if you help someone because of a payoff it won't work. I honestly told him that when I helped the stranger I wasn't even thinking about that, but now that we are at the golf course I could use the payoff. On the 7th hole, with a Titleist 3 Velocity, 131 yards, with an eight iron, I got my first ever hole in one! We still talk about the irony, and that we talked about that on same day I achieved a hole in one.
