During an annual member member tournament I had my first ace on hole #3. Hole three is visible from the practice green and there was a lot of discussion about how close the proximity was to the hole. My comment was there is still a lot of room between the proximity and the hole. Well sure enough hit a 9 iron in between the proximity and the pin making a pretty good divot and spun the ball back into the hole. It was great being able to see it hit and roll back to the hole. Well on the next day my wife's partner Karen hit a hole in one on #8 so in the two day tournament there were two hole in one's. Only bummer was the ball prize was Bridgestone balls.
