Standing on the tee box of #15 at Westchase Golf Club on the 9th and final hole of our TIGL match and only thinking, just need to carry the swamp and avoid anything worse than a bogey to finish with a personal best score. Hit a three quarter 9 iron to be safe, ball flight is my typical natural draw, lands 4 feet from pin, rolls toward hole and then disappears. Dead silence and a bit of shock for about 5 seconds and I turn to the rest of my foursome and said, did that just go in? They all said it sure looks like it and we yell at the group on #16 tee box (2 of the guys are on my golf team) and they walk over towards the green and give the thumbs up. Then I did my best Happy Gilmore tribute and did the bull. To cap it off, that carded me a 32 on the round and by far a personal best. Epic!
