On August 17, 2021 I recorded my second hole in one, 37 years after recording my first in 1984. I was playing in a tournament at my home club, Spring Lakes (North course) in Stouffville, ON. on Aug. 17, 2021. The closest to the pin marker was about 7 or 8 feet from the hole and I was hoping to get inside that to claim the prize. It was a perfect shot that never left the pin, took 2 short hops and rolled into the hole. Ironically it was one of the few good shots I had that day lol. There were smiles all around and as tradition dictates, some celebratory libations after the round, at my expense. I joked with my friends that I hoped I wouldn’t have to wait another 37 years for the next hole in one ... unlikely that I’ll make it considering I’m now 69 years old!
