I started off with 4 straight pars in light rain. The rain got harder and after taking off my glasses because I couldn't keep them dry, I proceeded to hit my tee shot on the fifth hole out of bounds, ending up with a triple bogey on that hole. The very next hole was a down hill par 3 playing about 145 yards. I hit a shot that went right at the hole from the time it left my club face. One guy said "I think it went in the hole" then another said "it did go in the hole". Because of the rain and it being a little dark, along with not wearing my glasses, I didn't see it go in. About half way there I saw that there was no ball on the green. Nobody else had hit the green. That's when I knew it was in the hole for sure! The very next hole was a par 5 with a winding creek you have to hit over on your tee shot, your second shot, and your approach into the green. After hitting my tee shot into the creek, I laid up and hit a shot into the woods. I tried to chip it out but hit a tree and put it back into the woods even further. I took a drop and then after hitting a couple directly into the creek in front of me, I finally got on onto the fairway. Not wanting to put one into the creek in front of the green, I hit one on the sweet spot and flew it over the green. After it it was all said and done, I ended up with a 14. God giveth and God taketh away. Then I finished Par, Birdie. 12 over on 2 holes and 3 under on 7 holes. Craziest round ever!!!!
