9/14/21 Today is my 25th wedding anniversary and I was playing in my high school's Laker Open at Green Spring Valley Hunt Club in Owings Mills, MD with my buddies, Gary Blibaum, Guy Gemmill, and Rich Taylor. The round was not exactly going according to plan, so after 6 holes my partner, Rich and I stopped into the bar for some swing oil in the form of a Tito's Southside. We started to gain a little steam and right the ship on the next few holes. The 5th hole from the tips is 168 yards and called for a 7 iron, which was right on line and took a couple of bounces before dissappearing. Gary was about 4 yards in front of me as we approached the hole, but he didn't say anything when he looked in the hole to save me the joy of seeing my ball in the cup.
