I've been playing golf for around 54 years and on August 18, 2021 I had my first ever Hole-In-One. It was on # 11 at the Belvedere Golf Club in Charlottetown PEI and the sad part of it all was that I didn't even see it go in the hole. It's a par three up a small hill and on this day the pin was tucked in behind the trap that is on the hole and you can only see the flag not the hole. I was lucky enough to hit a wonderful shot and one member of my group said that has a chance to be very close. Well it was so close it went in. I was playing a Pro V1x on this day but I usually play a Pro V1. I like to say I gave myself an early birthday present as I turned 72 on the 22nd of August. Another thing that made this so special was that I was playing with a long time friend who was home visiting from another province and another friend who brought along his daughter who's a very good golfer. She only shot an even par round from the men's tees. All in all it was a very special exciting day..
