I was playing terribly thru the first 4 holes of our club championship at hearthstone country club +3 after 4 holes. I was upset at myself and just wanted to get on the tee box and hit. I asked what the yardage was, even though I already had my T200 5 iron in hand and I was told 192. Without even thinking about what shot to hit, I just tee’d it up and striped my ball, luckily it was going right at the flag, but covered up by a bunker. I knew it was a good shot and thought to myself, “ok nice, I should have a decent birdie putt”. The rest of the group hit and their balls were scattered around the green. We walked up to the green and I didn’t see my ball. What I did see, was my ball-mark, about 8ft. directly in line with the hole. I looked in the cup and sure enough, my proV1x was laying in the back of the cup. My first hole in one ever. And it was during the club championship. By the next hole, my phone was flooded with congratulatory text messages, it seemed like word got out to the entire club within minutes. I ended up with a $1,000 bar tab from buying drinks for everyone, luckily we had a hole in one pot for that though. Best day of my life.
