Shortly after recording this my first Ace at 73, I was so excited I went to the next tee, teed up the same ball, hit heading into the woods, hit a tree, and saw it fly into some thick rough. It only then occurred to me what I had done. It took 10 minutes for three of us to find it, after allowing another group to play through. So, the lesson learned is that if you ever play with someone scoring an Ace, take the ball away from him or her before they head to the next tee. By the way, I followed the eagle Ace with a double bogey. Still shot an 84.
