I was delighted to record my first ever hole-in-one. It was on the 15th at Cambridge Country Club. It was such a great pleasure for a number of reasons, it was a hole in one and we saw it go in the hole. Not only that, to great laughter it went in off the tree to the RHS of the green, or in Wilf’s opinion at the time, “clattered “ the tree and went in. The occasion was made extra special because it was in the great company of Wilf Gibbons, Brian Lever and Christian Lever. What a pleasure.
