I was alone playing and walking this course for exercise since my partner couldn't make it. The hole was a par 3 133 yards over the creek. This hole has always given me trouble. I used a 6 iron and hit it square and the flight was great and straight but right into the sun. I didn't see it land but knew it would be a good shot. As I walked to the green I did not see my ball but saw a couple of guys on 8 yelling and throwing their hands up in the air but couldn't see if they were facing me or the other direction and didn't think much of it. I looked for the ball short of the green and didn't see it so i was walking across the green to see if it rolled past and paused to look in the hole, yea right! There it was! I took a pic and sent it to my wife and said "Wouldn't you know it I got my first hole in one and not a witness!" She said "Congratulations!" I teed off the next hole and saw the two gentlemen two holes ahead and they were within 250 yards so I wondered if they saw it. I yelled and asked why they through their hands up in the air? They yelled we saw your hole in one from tee to the hole! Great shot! I was elated. I said don't leave I need your names and could you share with the pro shop please? My disappointed changed to pure joy!
