Hello team Titleist my wife Katie and I play our friends, team Yo, in what we call the Red Tee Flip Flop Challenge. We figured it was a fun way to get our wives involved in our crazy addiction called golf. We play at the Paso Robles Golf Club in Paso Robles, CA. We play in our flips, with a cart and some drinks and play a 2 man scramble from the forward tees for 9 holes. We have been doing this for the last 4-5 years and its always seems to come down to the last hole and usually one of the wives putting for the win. There's always a lot of laughs, whiffs, and usually someone dropping a long putt. We played on January 28th after 2:45PM. It was a brutal competition as we were even until the 8th hole. The 8th hole, from the forward tee's, was scoped at 138 yards to a shadowed flag. I had just seen a Sergio Garcia video talking about most amateurs starting with their shoulders instead of pulling down like pulling on a chain and that's what I was thinking. I hit a solid 8 iron and didn't see where it ended up but my buddies wife said she saw it bounce. When we drove up to the green there wasn't a ball to be seen and I figured it had gone off the back. I told Jake to "look in the hole" and sure enough he did. Hands in the air the ball was there.....the celebration started. My wife started a video of me walking over and taking the ball out of the hole. I have been golfing for 57 years and never had a hole in one before. Thanks Titleist for giving me a Pro V1 to hit and I'm still on cloud 9
