My shot was a "slam dunk"! What are the odds of that vs a regular hole in one where the ball rolls in? In this case, the ball apparently hit about 1" in front of the hole, tore a chunk of turf out and then wedged itself between the pin and the front of the cup- but over the hole! Picture attached. As I was shooting the pictures, the wind blew the pin backwards a bit and the ball then fell on its own into the hole. Note how the name of the ball is very visible as it hangs over the hole...great advertisement for you- don't you think? This was my second hole in one, the first happening 47 years ago on a harder 191 yard par 3. But that was not as great because it took a lucky bounce and I couldn't see it go in as the green was a bit above my tee box. Also, back then I was using Top Flite ball because I didn't know any better. I am 69 now. By the way, I also had an eagle on the 9th hole during this same round and finished with a -4 68...my third lowest round ever. I might have done better but I got too nervous on adrenaline after the hole in one and bogeyed the next hole (but I did birdie 18 to finish at -4). What a day!!!
