Today on hole 4 four at Spanish Wells club on Hilton head Island I had my 1st hole in one. It was 119 yards and I used a six iron. On Wednesday I played the same hole and was close and made birdie so I knew which club to use. I’m a 14 handicap and 82 years old. When I hit the ball it was headed to the hole, I yelled “in the hole” and when I got up to the green i had my putter but couldn’t find the ball. I looked in the hole and there it was. I shot an 83 today and I was disappointed as I missed shooting my age by 1 stroke but It was a great day. Atlee Compher
