Playing at my home course this morning. Just recently replaced my 716 AP2 irons with T100S. Have really loved the new irons. Only my 4th round with the new sticks. Get to 17, not playing particularly great, 5 over on the round. Cold and fairly windy conditions. 194 to the flag all the way in the back of the green. Hit a choked down cut 4 iron with my ball of choice 2022 AVX, with wind into and off the right. Felt great when I hit it, right at my target. Started to fall down towards the hole and all I was thinking was “be good, I could use a birdie”. Ball landed and disappeared, I audibly said to myself “no f****** way” I kind of walked to the left to see if the ball was either in front or behind the hole and the flag stick was hiding it. I didn’t see it, heart was pounding but I just thought I went long. Was playing by myself as I usually do most mornings to get some golf in before work. I FaceTimed my wife and told her I may have gotten a hole in one. She stayed on the whole time. Got up to the green and walked up. I checked behind first and started walking to the hole. The ball was actually in the cup on the side closest to me so it was the last thing I saw. I can’t explain the jubilation I felt. I was jumping/running/screaming like a mad man. My wife was cracking up. It is a feeling I’ll never forget! Thanks Titleist for making the best equipment in the world. Been top to bottom Titleist for over 10 years and it will never change!!
