  1. 255 yards into an uphill par 4. I was tying to decide between 3wood and 2 iron, I ultimately decided on 3 wood so it would carry farther and land soft. I set up to play a slight draw starting at the pin in the middle of the green and finishing at worst left of the green, that is sloped hard left to right. I give it a smooth swing and it comes off like a bullet about 3 ft right of the pin. As it flies it turns ever so slightly right at the pin and sounds like a car crash as it hits the base of the pin. Coming off the tee box I stated, " It's either in the hole or bounced 50 yards off the pin." As I approach my cart partners ball in the middle of the fairway, one of our other playing partners drove up to the green. He walked over to the hole, looked down, and went crazy! We all knew it was a hole in one and celebrating commenced.
