First hole in one

    Played from the back of the whites set at 103 yds, pin set in the middle of #6 hole. Used a Titleist-56 deg wedge and Titleist Velocity ball. We were all in disbelief as we watched the ball hit the front of the green and disappear into the hole. Awesome feeling! Great first experience for the first time out on this course- Indian Creek Country Club- Loomis, CA.

    First Hole in One was at Lakeside Golf Club in Fort Wayne, Indiana on 4/17/1967 at the age of 16. I hit a 9 iron on the 120 yd par 3 6th hole. I used an Acusnet ball. Have had 4 more over the years --- all with Titleist golf balls. How can I get one of the cool silver looking round bag tags. That first ace was witnessed by my father Phil Ryan. The next hole I almost holed out for an Eagle using that same ball. Bob Ryan - Tampa, Florida.
