  1. I was really frustrated with my game recently, so I spend 3 days last week at the range working on my 150 yard shot. I was finally feeling good hitting my 9 iron. At number 11 at Tanglewood Championship course in Clemmons, NC I squared up and slightly pulled that 9 iron just over a green side bunker, about 5 yards off target. I thought the wind might push it toward the hole, but it was a combination of spin and a favorable pin placement that lead to my first ace! After 20 some years I finally got my first! Titleist Pro V1, number 4, from 147 yards. I’ll never forget what happened 3/26/2022! Thanks to the seven guys I was playing with for sharing the experience with me. It’s gonna be a good year!

Congratulations. Am 75, and took up the game late in life. Start playing back in 1985. Guess I am one of the lucky ones. Had my first hole in one in 2001 and my fourth in 2020. Not something I practice, just shoot the distance, pull the right club and hope! It is all what works for us. Good luck on your next one. Hope you registered your HIO on this site to get your bag tag. Nice conversation piece and badge of honor. =)
